Youth Spirit is delighted to be participating in an art exhibit at the Oakland Airport between February 14th and April 3, 2009. Twelve youth tables and chairs will be featured in the show, including work by artists Ryan McAllister, Shanice Kiel, Precious Gordon, Josh Katz, Candace Waltz, and Deja Tolerson.  YSA furniture will be located in the walkway between Terminals 1 & 2.   The exhibit honors well-known Oakland arts non-profit, Oaklandish, which awarded Youth Spirit with a 2008 Innovators Award as one of the most exciting new East Bay arts organizations last year. We are grateful to Oaklandish and to Carin Adams, Curator for their wonderful support for our art making.
